first of all we have to find the slope
3x - 4y = 12
-4y = 12 - 3x
y = -3 + ³/₄ x
y = ³/₄x - 3
so the slope is ³/₄
now the equation is :
y-y₁ = m (x-x₁)
y-8 = ³/₄ (x-8)
y-8 = ³/₄ x - 6
y = ³/₄ x -6 + 8
y = ³/₄x + 2
