A patient arrives at the office for an appointment and you know that he has been recently diagnosed with epilepsy. When he arrives for his appointment, he says he’s not feeling quite right and he begins to seize. The front desk immediately gets the medical assistant. What actions should the MA take immediately and why

Firstly you need to turn the patient on their side so they don’t choke on their saliva. There are certain medications you can use to stop seizing. You could also ask another professional to get a patient history because there will be medications that work and triggers that are listed. Hope this helps!
