How do I solve these questions and can I have one of the answers ​-example-1

Answer:

ok-

first thing to do is break the shapes into regular shapes that you already know how to figure the area of. so, #1 and #2 become an upright rectangle with a square attached to the bottom. #? is a rectangle with a semicircle at each end. #5 is a rectangle with a triangle up top... etc.

then, you figure the area of each part and add them all together.

let's look at #1:

right away, I see a square sticking off the right side that is 20x20- so that part is 400sq inches

then, I see the remainder as a rectangle that is 23x22.

23x22=506sq inches

then, add the 2 parts together.

506+400= 906sq inches total.
