#i

Finding diameter⤵️

\boxed{ \sf \: diameter = 2 * radius}

\tt \: d = 2 * 6.5

\tt \: d = 13 \: feet

Finding circumference⤵️

\boxed{ \sf \: circumference = 2\pi r}

\tt \: circumference = 2 * 3.14 * 6.5

\tt \: circumference = 13 * 3.14

\tt \: circumference = 40.82 \: feet

Finding area⤵️

\boxed{ \sf \: area = \pi r ^(2) }

\tt \: area = (22)/(7) * {6.5}^(2)

\tt \: area = (22)/(7) * ( (13)/(2) )^(2)

\tt \: area = \frac{ \cancel{22}}{7} * (169)/( \cancel4)

\tt \: area = (11)/(7) * (169)/(2)

\tt \: area = (1859)/(14) ≈132.78 \: {feet}^(2)

Solution:

Note that:

  • Radius = 6.5 ft.
  • Diameter = 2r
  • Circumference = πd

Finding the diameter:

  • 2r = 2(6.5) ft = 13 ft.

Finding the circumference (In decimal):

  • πd = π x d ≈ 3.14 x 13 ≈ 40.82 ft

Finding the circumference (In fraction):

  • πd = π x d = 22/7 x 13 = 286/7 ft
