Answer:

well your right the answer is -8

Explanation:

here's what you should do

1) Simplify both sides of the equation.

3+4(x−3)=5−2(−3x−1)

3+(4)(x)+(4)(−3)=5+(−2)(−3x)+(−2)(−1)(Distribute)

3+4x+−12=5+6x+2

(4x)+(3+−12)=(6x)+(5+2)(Combine Like Terms)

4x+−9=6x+7

4x−9=6x+7

2) Subtract 6x from both sides.

4x−9−6x=6x+7−6x

−2x−9=7

3) Add 9 to both sides.

−2x−9+9=7+9

−2x=16

4) Divide both sides by -2.

−2x

−2

=

16

−2

x=−8
