Given:

Consider the dimensions of the cuboid are 5 by 4 by 6.

To find:

The total surface of the cuboid.

Solution:

The total surface area of a cuboid is:


Area=2(lb+bh+hl)

Where, l is length, w is width and h is the height.

Substituting l=5, b=4 and h=6, we get


Area=2(5* 4+4* 6+6* 5)


Area=2(20+24+30)


Area=2(74)


Area=148

Therefore, the total surface area of the cuboid is 148 sq. units.
