Sixty percent of the water from the full bottle holding 1.5 L was used to fill 5 similar cups leaving no remainder. How much water does 1 cup hold ?​

Answer:

0.9 of a Liter for the bottle's volume

0.18 L for each cut

180 mL for each cup.

Explanation:

60/100 * 1.5 = 0.6 * 1.5 = 0.90

There were 5 cups

The volume of the bottle was 0.9 liters

1 cup held 0.9 / 5 = 0.18 L

1 Liter = 1000 mL

0.18 L = 1000 *0.18 = 180 mL
