Answer: 1. Natural science is the branch of science that studies the physical world whereas social science studies people and society.

2. Social sciences are the subjects that study the various aspects of society

Explanation: 1. While these 2 subjects are widely different, their methods to obtain results is also very similar. Although social science is constantly evolving as compared to natural science which does so in a much slower manner, the research for both the subjects are similar. Both these areas require constant study and experimentation, theorization, analyzing. So while these subjects may be different, they are similar in some very important aspects.

2. It is very important to study the functioning of human society. This is because, no matter what field or profession any individual belongs to, there is always an element of human society in some form.
