URGENTT!! Susan will rent a car for the weekend. She can choose one of two plans. The first plan has no initial fee but costs $0.60 per mile driven. The second plan has an initial fee of $75 and costs an additional $0.10 per mile driven. How many miles would Susan need to drive for the two plans to cost the same?

Answer:

150 miles

Explanation:

Let

x = number of miles

Plan A: 0.60x

Plan B: 75 + 0.10x

How many miles would Susan need to drive for the two plans to cost the same?

0.60x =75 + 0.10x

0.60x - 0.10x = 75

0.50x =75

x = 75/0.50

x = 150 miles

Susan needs to drive for 150 miles for the two plans to cost the same
