Are these proportional? And I need to show work sooo for example on the first question we did in class we wrote down

-3/1
-6/2=-3/1
-9/3=3/1

I hope I’m not asking for too much but I want to start off my trimester strongly.

Here, k = Proportionality constant

For y = -8 and x = -4,

k =
(-8)/(-4)

k = 2

For y = -4 and x = -2

k =
(-4)/(-2)

k = 2

For all values of x and y proportionality constant = 2.

For x = 0 and y = 0,

If we graph a line passing through these points, the line will pass through the origin (No y-intercept).

And we know that any line passing through the origin represents the proportional relation between x and y variables.

Therefore, given table represents the proportional relation.
