Answer:

cost of the fee and the first month = 40+2=42

cost of 19 months = 40+ 19x=78

Explanation:

numbers of months = x

y= total cost

X = 19

Y = 2X + 40

Y = 40+2(19)

Y = 78

Answer:

3. y = 2m + 40 || 4. $78

Explanation:

3.

Here y will be total cost, let months be m, $40 signup will be constant.

equation: y = 2m + 40

4.

y = 2m + 40 [ Here given that the months is 19, m = 19 ]

y = 2(19) +40

y = 78

The total cost of being all-star library member for 19 months is $78
