Explanation:

Since we're not solving for area I would just divide this circle into 6 equal parts. 3 on both sides of the diameter. The orange parts take up about 120/180 on one sides of the circle. So 2/3 of half the circle are covered in orange which means 2/6 of the whole circle is covered in orange. Which leaves us with 4/6 blank or white area. 4/6 as a decimal is 0.6666667 or 67%
