First, I'm not sur if you learned it, but do PEMDAS (Parentheses, then exponents, then multiplication, then division, then adding, the. subtracting.) So, 2x4 is first, that's 8. Then, 2x2, that's 4. Then multiply those together to get 32 because 8 x 4 is 32. Then lastly, divide 32 by 8, which 8 is at the bottom of the problem. 32 ÷ by 8 is 4. Hope this helps!
