We now live in the most free society in recorded history. Everyone is equal under the law and we all have the same basic rights and freedoms. While this is true, there are still bad people; violent, racist cops, thieves, murderers, etc.

We are not completely fair and just, but we are closer than any other society has ever come to perfect fairness without universal servitude.
