Explanation: Readers are also considered the audience of a story, because they're the ones witnessing/reading the story and what's transpiring. Dramatic Irony is suspenseful because we know what happened or what's going to happen and it builds tension when waiting for what's going to happen to happen or waiting for the narrator to realize what we already know.
