Why is y=3/x+2 a nonlinear equation?

Answer:

Because it has a variable of x and y, so when you plot the graph, it won't give you a straight line graph

Explanation:

y = 3/x+2

3 = y(x+2)

xy + 2y = 3

2y = -xy + 3
