Let x = the number of adult tickets you sold.
Naturally, the number of child tickets you sold would be 80-x.
1.25x + 0.75(80-x) = 75
1.25x + 60 - 0.75x = 75
0.5 x = 15
x = 30
adult tickets = 30
child tickets = 80-30 = 50
