Most schools have some sort of fine arts elective requirement that students must complete in order to graduate.
Students often take music appreciation or drawing or sometimes even dance. I believe, however, that all public
Schools should require students to learn to play at least one musical instrument instead of allowing them to take
any art elective. I have many reasons for suggesting this graduation requirement. First and foremost, I believe
that students should be required to learn to play a musical instrument because it is fun.
