Answer: 1.2 miles

Explanation:

Given

Madjeen Jogs 3.5 laps in the morning

And 1 lap in the evening

Madjeen runs a total of 5.4 miles

The total no of laps is 3.5+1=4.5

Suppose each lap covers x miles

So, we can write

\Rightarrow 4.5x=5.4\\\\\Rightarrow x=(5.4)/(4.5)=1.2\ miles

So, one lap is equivalent to 1.2 miles
