If you had been president in the mid-1930s, would you have felt promoting the arts was a valid use of federal funds to fight the Depression? Why or why not?

While the arts are a great thing and create some jobs, I believe funding could go into more general things, such as factory work because that would generate much more work than the arts likely would

Answer:

Yes. This is because the arts are sometimes what creates jobs. While yes, I do believe it would not do that much but it still helps.
