Let

Width of the garden = x

Length of the garden = 4x

Area of a rectangular garden = length × width

2077 = 4x * x

2077 = 4x²

x² = 2077/4

x² = 519.25

find the square root of both sides

x = √519.25

x = 22.787057730211

To the nearest tenth of a foot.

x = 22.8 foot

Width of the garden = 22.8 foot
