Answer:

You are 34 years old

Explanation:

Because, 34-17=17

17 is half of 34.

2x+20=y

y-17=0.5y

+17 +17

y=0.5y+17

2(0.5y+17)+20=0.5y+17

y+34+20=0.5y+17

y+54=0.5y+17

y=34

Answer:

Explanation:

x= "I" age

x is 20 years older than x's daughter's age.

To find out daughter's age = 17x2 (34)

34-20 = 14

The daughter is 14.
