Write the equation of a line through the point (5,4) that is perpendicular to the line y=-5/3x-2 ​

Answer:

y=3/5x+1 because when a line is perpendicular to another line the slope it the opposite meaning negative to positive or positive to negative

you also reverse the number/ fraction...for example, if the slope was 2 the slope in the other equation would be -1/2. if the slope in the first equation was 1/2 the second equation slope would be -2 since it is the opposite and flipped
