x^(3) -x^(2) -5x-3

Explanation:

you use distributive property for this, or you can do the box method

distributive:


x(x^(2) +2x+1)-3(x^(2) +2x+1) (you multiply the second equation by x-3)

then distribute, or multiply everything


x^(3) +2x^(2) +x-3x^(2) -6x-3

then collect like terms


x^(3) -x^(2) -5x-3
