Answer: 2245 lbs or 1.1225 tons

Explanation:

1 ton = 2000 lbs

adult weighs 3 tons or 6000 pounds

so I took the 3 year olds weight of 3755 and subtracted that from the adults weight in pounds to find the total weight in pounds needed to become an adult

6000-3755 = 2245 lbs and if you want it in tons then divide by 2000

2245 / 2000 = 1.1225 tons
