On a piece of paper, use a protractor and a ruler to construct two equilateral triangles: one with a side length of 4 inches and one with a side length of 5 inches.

Which statement is true about the two triangles?

The two triangles are the same shape but not the same size.
The two triangles are the same size but not the same shape.
It is impossible to construct equilateral triangles with these side lengths.
The two triangles are the same size and same shape.

Answer:

two triangles are the same shape but not the same size.

Explanation:

They are both equilateral triangles meaning all sides are the same. If they are saying one side is 4 then so is the rest of the triangle and if they are saying the other triangle is 5 then so it the rest of the sides. This means that they are not the same size but they are the same shape.

Hope this helped

Answer:

the two triangles are the same shape but not the same size

Explanation:

an equilateral triangle has all equal sides. if one triangle has a side length of 4 inches, it'll be smaller than the triangle with the side length of 5 inches but just because they're different sizes doesn't mean they're a different shape. (i don't know if this is right but I'm pretty sure it is)
