Explanation:

This is because when finding the area of a triangle it is known as base times height then divide by 2 and since the base is a triangle, multiply 4.3 times 5 which is 21.5 and divide by 2 which is 10.75 and for the top since its also a triangle multply 5x5 which is 25 divide by 2 whicih is 12.5, but there is 3 of them so multiply by 3 and you get 37.5, then add 37.5+10.75 to get 48.25 cm^2
