Answer:

The correct answer is C. The objects are iluminated.

Step-by-step explanation:

KEY CONCEPT

The reason we are able to see objects is that light is reflected off an object into are eyes.

WHY C IS CORRECT ANSWER?

We arrive at the correct C by realizing that for us to be able to see the object in a dark room there must be a source of light ( flashlight in this case ) from which light falls on to the objects and iluminates them so that the light is reflected from the object into our eyes.

WHY OTHER OPTIONS ARE INCORRECT?

The objects themselves are not producing light hence they are non luminous so option D is incorrect.

If the objects were blackened you would not be able to see them as there wont be any light being reflected off the objects so option B cannot be right either.

Refraction is a property applicaple to light waves an object cannot refract hence option A is incorrect as well.
