Answer:

1)
3x^(2)-19x-14

2) x=0, x=3

Explanation:

1) (3x+2)(x-7)

Distribute the 3x to both x and -7, as well as the 2 to both x and - 7.

3x^(2) - 21x + 2x -14

Combine like terms

3x^(2) - 19x - 14

2)

In order to find the factors of x, set the expression equal to 0.

3x^(2) - 9x = 0

Factor out the highest common multiple (3x)

3x(x-3) = 0

In order for x to satisfy the equality, you must either have a 0 in the parenthesis -> (x-3)=0 -> x =3

Or 3x = 0 -> x = 0

Hope this helps!
