The scale of a map is 1/2 in : 8 mi. What is the actual distance of the map if it is 2 in?

1/2 in= 8 miles so 2 inches on the map=32 because there is 4 half inches in 2 inches and then you times 8 by 4 because that’s how many 1/2 inches are in 2 inches and that gives you 32.
