Just divide 58.5 grams by the molar mass of CO2. Use the periodic table to find the masses of C and O
Molar mass of CO2 = 12.01(1) + 16(2) = 12.01+32 = 44.01 g/mol
mol of CO2 = 58.5g/44.01 g/mol = 1.329 mol = 1.33 mol with correct sig figs
