How many people will there be if I have 58 friends and each of them bring five friends, but 6 of my friends are couples? So, how many people will be at my party, including me?

Answer:

276 individuals at the party.

Explanation:

If 6 of your friends are couples then we would count them as 1 each and it would be 3 friends. Therefore we subtract 3 from your 58 friends.

58 - 3 = 55 friends

Each of them brings 5 friends so we multiply your number of friends by 5.

55 * 5 = 275 friends

Finally, we add you because you are included

275 + 1 = 276

There will be a total of 276 individuals at the party.
