Add -12x to both sides giving you 3y=12x+12. Then divide by 3y. y= 4x+4.

Answer:

y = 4x +4

Explanation:

-12x + 3y = 12

3y = 12 +12x ......bring x to opposite side and sign changes

y = 12 +12x / 3 .............bring 3 to oppsite side and it would divide

y = 4 + 4x ............result of diving and the answer of ours

y = 4x +4
