The total amount of money Carter would have to pay to use the studio for t hours can be determined using the equation P=350+75t. The y-intercept and it's interpretation in the context of the problem​.

Solution:

We have,


P=350+75t

At t=0, we get


P=350+75(0)


P=350+0


P=350

Therefore, the y-intercept is 350 and it means the initial fee of the studio is 350 when the number of hours is 0.
