Explanation:

In order for a equation to be proportional it has to have a straight line (which indicates that it has a constant rate of change.) and it has to go through the origin

If you were to draw a line straight through the ordered pairs of graph 1 it would be a straight line and it would go through the origin (0,0)

therefore graph one would show a proportional relationship
