Answer:

Area of shaded region=2 ×3.14×R -2×3.14×r(where R is lager radius and r is smaller radius.)

Therefore area of shaded region=2×3.14×12 -2×3.14×8

=2×3.14(12-8)

=6.18 ×4

=24.72 inc^2
