One quarter is $0.25
$1= four quarters
0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25+0.25 +0.25+0.25+0.25=$4.25 dollars worth of quarters
0.10+0.10+0.10+0.10+0.10+0.10=$0.60
4.25+0.60=4.85
