Dr. King was a young man in 165, only 36 years old (Harned is 35, so he was YOUNG, okay?). What are the pressures that are weighing on Dr. King during the period surrounding the Selma marches? What factors must he consider as he decides whether or not to go through with the marches?

He must consider protest laws, the crowd of either supporters or fighters, jail time, and people’s safety.
