PLEASE HELP ME FAST!!

Translate , (−3,− 1) to the right 1 unit. Then reflect the result over the y-axis. What are the coordinates of the final point?

Answer:

(-2, 1).

Explanation:

Move (-3, -1) one unit to the right, and you get (-2, -1). Reflect (-2, -1) over the y-axis, and the coordinates will be (-2, 1).

The only thing that changes is the y coordinate. If you had reflected it over the x-axis, the x coordinate would have changed and the y coordinate would have stayed the same.
