I'm confused on this... When your cleaning your vacuum, are you the vacuum cleaner? When your waiting on the waiter, are you the waiter? Also, the opposite of fireflies is waterfalls.

I'm confused on this...

When your cleaning your vacuum, are you the vacuum cleaner?
When your waiting on the waiter, are you the waiter?

In a way, yes. All three sentences are not to be taken fully literally; they are more figuratively-interpreted.
