Your friend Erikah thinks she has a virus on her computer, based on an alert she saw that pops up every time she tries to browse online. She wants to download a program the alert suggests she should use to fix it, but her computer tells her it won’t install that program. Looking up instructions online, Erikah finds out that she can install the virus-fixing program if she deletes a specific directory file and a .dll file from her computer. Explain to her how this could be an example of end-user error, why it would be a bad idea, and what she might try instead to fix this problem.
