Answer: y- 2 = -1/2(x - 2)

Explanation:

We need to rewrite it as y=mx+b.

x - 2y = 4

2y = - x + 4

y = -1/2x + 4/2

y = -1/2x + 2

The slope for x - 2y = 4 is -1/2.

In addition, the slope of two parallel line would be the same, the slope of the line that pass through the point (2,2) would be -1/2.

y- y1 = m(x- x1)

y- 2 = -1/2(x - 2)
