If you draw a line to make the triangle the longer leg is equal to 4 then the shorter leg is 3 since your subtracting 13 - 10 to get 3 for the shorter leg. you use Pythagorean theorem that would equal 3^2 + 4^2 = 25 if you take the square root of 25 its 5. So now you know x = 5. Then add all the sides together to get the perimeter.
