The computation of the ratio of the surface area of A to the surface area of B is shown below;

= Surface area of the sphere a ÷ surface area of the sphere b

= 4πr^2 ÷ 4πr^2

= 6^2 ÷ 14 ÷ 2^2

hence, the ratio of the surface area of A to the surface area of B is 36 ÷ 49
