Employee : instructor = 24 : 2

If there are 39 instructors

Employee = x

Employee : instructor = x : 39

Equate both ratios

24 : 2 = x : 39

24/2 = x/39

Cross product

24 * 39 = 2 * x

936 = 2x

x = 936/2

x = 468

Employees = x = 468
