Explanation:

when you have exponents with the same base that are divided, you subtract the number in the exponent. Additionally, if multiple exponents are present, they must be multiplied to be able to have this property. We have 5^12/5^9. 12-9=3. So we are left with 5^3. C^10/C^9. 10-9=1. SO we are left with C^1=C. d^2 doesn't have a pair so we leave it alone. In the end, we get 5^3*c*d^2. The " * " is multiplication and " ^ " means to the power of or an exponent.
