Answer:

Explanation:

Oh they are " similar " triangles, so they are scale copies of each other

for 13) they are saying those same marks on the sides means those segments are the same lengh. so the bigger triangle takes 2 same lengths as does the smaller one. Yes.. that does mean the bigger one is 2 times bigger than the smaller one. sooo just multiply that known side by 2 to find BD

so BD = 2 *8

BD = 16 :)

for 14) same exact thing but in reverse

XY = 1/2 *8

XY = 4 :)

for 15)

I think that there is a line.... from U to V that isn't showing up in the photo, using your camera for a photo of a screen seems .. hmm redundant.. just push "screen print" then paste what you copied into paint . then show that pic... no phone cam required. :? and the pic would be much much better quality.. no missing lines :/

anyway so if there is in fact a line from U to V then IK is that same 2 times bigger than UV

IK = 2*4

IK = 8

For 16) this is getting to be the same thing over and over.. are you getting it? :)

DF = 2 *8

Df = 16
