the fluid speed v1=10 m/s at the large cross section A1 of diameter 8m. it flows in the narrow section of area A2 of diameter 4 m at speed V2. Calculate V2

Answer:

V1 A1 = V2 A2

V1 = 10m/s

A1 = 8m

10x8 =80

V2 =?

A2 = 4m

80 = V2 x 4

÷4

20 = V2

V2 =20m/s

Step-by-step explanation:

If one halfs, the other doubles & vice versa. (Like inverse proportion or the reciprocal). That's why when you half 8m, the velocity doubles, on the other side. Then, balances out.
