Can we make a triangle out of one angle that measure 20 degrees and another that measures 45 degrees

Yes. If the third angle is equal to 115 degrees.

Explanation:

The sum of all the angles in a triangle must equal 180 degrees.

If the two angles are 20 degrees and 45 degrees the third angle must be

180-45-20= 115 degrees

A triangle having three different angles is called a scalene triangle.

A scalene triangle also has three different sides.

But if the third angle is less or greater than 115 degrees the triangle cannot be formed.

This is the called the sum property of triangle.

There is another property which must also be satisfied i.e the sum of any 2 sides must be greater than the third side.
