Answer: They sold each book at a price of 143.75 birr

Explanation:

1500 divided by 12 is 125 and 15% of 125 is 18.75 so add it together and you got your answer. hope this helps <3

As the merchant has made 15% of profit on 1500 birr . So ,

15% of 1500 is 225 birr


(x)/(1500) * 100 = 15 \: percent

Adding the cost price and profit made we get ,

Selling Price = 1500 birr + 225 birr

Sp = 1725 birr
